Two crucial parts of this game are Rallying and Reinforcing. Both of these methods can completely change the outcome of a battle. In this thread I'm going to provide some information about both, so please feel free to comment and cover anything I've missed.
Rallying
How to Rally
In order to rally someone, you must have your hall of war unlocked. Unlike other buildings, the Hall of War requires not only res, but also War warrants. War warrants can be won in the routine supply chest, bought at the black market, or bought in the items. To rally someone you must be in a guild. You need to make sure that your target player is above HQ 15 or is also in a guild. To rally you simply tap on your enemies base and tap rally. from here you can choose how long you want your rally to be (I'll discuss the different times below). Once you've chosen a time, you can choose your amount of troops and then march. Once the rally has been started, you can go to guild war and see your rally and also who joins it. You also can see your location and also your opponents location by hitting the blue button by your commanders pictures. Players use this to keep track of players that are teleporting around to avoid a fight. Note that once you are rallied you can cancel it by going to your map and locating the blue mark on the right side of the screen and then hitting the red X. Although, Once it's in the air the only way to cancel it is by dropping out of the guild. There are usually 2 types of rallies, Save rallies and War rallies:
Save rally
Save rallies are used for players to protect their troops. You can simply do this by rallying and setting it to 8 hours. Usually players do this before they go to sleep to ensure that their troops don't get hit. Save rallies are typically used to track locations of players. Keep in mind that your opponent also can see your location. Some players use save rallies as bait to give off their location. You must have at least Scout 7 researched to see rallied units, so often players will rally units to trick players into thinking they have less troops than what they actually do.
War rally
War rallies are the rallies used with intent to take down larger players or even the monument. these rallies are usually shorter amounts of times to catch the player off guard. Depending on your hall of war and HQ level, your rally can range from slightly advantageous to a huge 2.375 million troop rally to do big damage. Be sure to have your attack set up before hand. Make sure your commander's points are changed, you're using a march capacity item, etc. Also, be sure that those joining your rally are close to you. Once they've joined in on your rally, it won't go off until all of the player's troops get there or the player quits the guild.
Extra Info
Please keep in mind that you can not use a peace shield while your troops are rallied. As for those joining your rally, they also are vulnerable. So be sure to play smart and to be aware of your surroundings when rallying other players. You also can't teleport while rallied, so be sure if you're looking to attack to be somewhat close to the target player to prevent any accidents from occurring.
Reinforcements
Reinforcements are troops sent to your base to provide help from incoming attacks. Your reinforcement capacity depends on your unit reserve center, located below your Headquarters on the left side. Here you can see the specifics on what troops are at your base. Reinforcements become very useful when you're being attacked. Reinforced troops will more than likely be the first to go when you're attacked, and they will be permanently lost so keep that in mind when reinforcing. Scout 8 is needed to see reinforced units. Often players will reinforce themselves and teleport around wanting to be hit, and some players will attack and not know what the actual troop count is because they can't see the reinforcements. If a player of your guild is being rallied, you can go to your guild war and see what the member has reinforcing.
Extra Info
Please keep in mind that you can not use a peace shield while you have reinforcements at your base. You must release them in order to activate one. You also can't shield if you're reinforcing another player. Although, you CAN shield if you're reinforcing the monument.
